River

The notable rivers of Dakop Upazila are Shibsa, Bhadra, Chunkuri, Pasur, Dhaki, Manga, Dhangmari and Jhopjhpia. Dakop Upazila is located on the banks of Pasur River. Both banks of the river have been constructed by the Water Development Board. At one time Pasur River was the main means of communication in Dakop Upazila. At present this animal is farmed by river water. Moreover, many fishes are found in this river.
